The days following Kelli’s departure were pretty mellow. Jillian had a good portion of the time off of work so we did some shopping and roamed the mall a bit. We even went over to visit Grandma Denise at work and say hello to some of her friends and coworkers. The girls spent time outside playing with Grandpa when he was home from work and I caught up on laundry and did a lot of reading. We also watched movies, did puzzles together and played games. While I was missing the adventures we had just been on it was nice to slow down and just relax, something I don’t get to do often. The time was very peaceful and we enjoyed every minute of it.
