Disneyland Birthday

So what do the Wharton’s love? OK, well there are a lot of things but Disneyland is one of them! Now that Abby is a bit older she has favorites characters, loves all things Disney and gets very excited when the word Disneyland is mentioned. She even loves watching a short movie about the Disneyland Parks on Netflix. (Yes, it is possible that she is more obsessive about Disneyland then I am.)

So as a birthday treat and on a whim, we decided to take Abby to Disneyland. Ellie did not come with us on this trip and while we missed her I know Abby enjoyed having some time with just mommy and daddy. To start the day we rode the tram in. I don’t think Abby could have been more excited, especially when she saw the Halloween scenes with Mickey, Minnie and the gang on the way in.

Its fun to be a kid. Even sitting with mommy on the tram is considered a ride!

Excited and happy smiles from Abby and Daddy after hopping off the tram. Disneyland here we come!

We started out day over in California Adventure. Shaun and I wanted to get on some of Abby’s favorite rides there before they became super busy. While we were there we rode The Little Mermaid, Toy Story Midway Mania, King Triton’s Carousel, and even snapped a picture with Duffy the Bear and the one and only Mickey Mouse! We did a lot in a short amount of time! Once we finished we left and headed over to Disneyland for the rest of our day. We had plenty to do still!

Abby talks to Duffy the Bear. She had to tell him just how much she loved his pumpkin costume.

Before smiling for the camera, Abby and Mickey “hugged it out” for a few minutes. As always, she was in awe of Mickey. Before we left she gave him a big kiss on the nose.

Abby and Daddy on King Triton’s Carousel. This was the first time she rode all by herself! (With daddy standing right next to her of course.)

Such a pretty girl. We love seeing her have so much fun.

After
our ride on the carousel, we headed to Disneyland for the remainder of the day. We stopped for lunch and then hit the rides again. I had hoped for Abby to get her picture taken with Rapunzel, but unfortunately the line to see her was nearly two hours long. SO instead we headed over to ride Dumbo. This was Abby’s first time on Dumbo and she loved every second of it.

Mommy and Abby had a blast on Dumbo. It was Abby’s first time!

From there we headed over to Toon Town and Abby was in heaven. She had the chance to meet Pluto, Minnie and of course Mickey Mouse. She also had the chance to play in Minnie and Mickey’s house as well as Donald’s and Goofy’s. She really loves that Donald’s house is a giant boat and that she even had the chance to sound off the horn.

Abby and Pluto sneak a picture and a few hugs. She was so excited to meet him.

Abby was extremely excited to meet Minnie and give her big hugs… Can you tell?

Its all smiles for her picture with Minnie

We also got to see Mickey! It was a bit of a surprise so Abby was a bit overwhelmed but she did love it! Gave Mickey more kisses on the nose! But it was nice to get a picture of all of us!

After our trip to Toon Town, we left hoping that Abby would fall asleep in her stroller. But on our way we saw that the line for Small World was very short, so we hopped on! From there Abby was energized again, so we got on a few more rides. Abby really wanted to ride the Tea Cups, so Mommy took her. Daddy is not a fan even though we didn’t go fast. Abby loved it and just squealed and giggled as mommy turned the cup faster. I am sure we will be going on this again soon!

Abby loved the tea cups! She even loved how she was pushed back into her seat as made the tea cup spin faster and faster.

After the tea cups, we went Alice and Wonderland for Auntie Jillian. Abby loved it too and just as we were about to come to the end of the ride.. it broke! I joked with Abby that we broke it but she didn’t really like that too much. We had to wait until Disney Cast Members let us off, that was a first for me on that ride and I have been many times! From there, the little girl who insisted on walking most of the day, finally crawled into the stroller and passed out. Shaun and I took the time to walk the park a bit and then sit down at Carnation Plaza for some dinner.

When Abby woke up, we got her changed and then headed for one last ride, Nemo. She loves the Nemo Submarines and we promised her one more ride before we headed home. In line she made a new little friend, Lily, who was visiting her grandparents with her mommy. They came all the way from South Carolina. When the ride was over and we had to part ways Abby and Lily gave each other a hug. It was very cute. As we left we walked through the castle on our way to Main Street and said goodbye to Disneyland. Abby had a wonderful time and before we had even left the park was asking when would we be back again. Very soon I’m sure!

Happy Birthday Abby

Abby,

Three years ago today you came into this world a happy little baby with the most stunning blue eyes I had ever seen. After months of kicking, flipping and a few ultrasounds your daddy and I greeted you with smiles, tears of joy and the excited yet nervous anticipation of new parents. We were not clueless about babies or children for that matter, but everything changes when the child you now hold in your arms is your own. There is a lot to teach and there is also a lot to learn.

While we are always learning, the last three years have taught us a lot. You have taught us a lot about being parents, about ourselves and about life. Its hard to sum up into words the things we have learned and what you have taught us, but here is my attempt.

In three years we have learned…

…to smile for new reasons
…that your giggle and the sound of your laughter can make even the most horrible day seem like its light years away
…to not sweat the small stuff and to take each challenge in stride
…that some of the smallest things in life like crawling and walking are part of some of our greatest joys
…that despite being small, its amazing just how much “stuff” you can produce
…that constantly talking to you, teaching you new words would eventually mean that the only time you stop talking is while eating, sleeping and occasionally during a movie. But all of that talking has given us some of the best moments of parenthood thus far
…a new definition of patience
…that being a parent should automatically give you a degree in psychology and make you a specialist in negotiating
…that you have to carefully watch what you say unless you want it repeated at the most inopportune moment
…that you are incredibly independent but always know where to go when you need help or just want to snuggle
…that you know exactly what to do to make us laugh
…that your imagination is endless and that stepping into your world always brings something new and amazing
…that just when you think you cant love anything more, you come along to change it

Abby, the love we have for you cannot be put into words. It’s amazing that three years have passed already but we have enjoyed every moment. We look forward to the years to come and all the adventures ahead of us. Turning three means officially stepping from toddler to preschooler. Moving from diapers to completely potty trained. The start of school and making friends. But I will stop there because I dont want that time to move too quickly. Happy Birthday Little Pumpkin, we love you so much!

Happy Birthday Ellie!

…To Our Little Ellie Bellie…

Its hard to believe that its been over a year since I could feel you kicking and flipping inside my tummy or rhythmically jumping each time you had hiccups. Its hard to believe that its been a year since I held you in my arms for the very first time. It’s hard to believe that its been a year since I looked at your Daddy, tears in my eyes, and told him how beautiful you are and how much you look like your sister. It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since the Wharton Family of three became the Wharton Family of four.

The day you were born was beautiful. It was sunny but cool for a July day. Abby stayed at home with Auntie Jillian, Grandma Denise and Grandpa Jerry. In just a few hours they would come over to the hospital to meet you for the very first time. I remember feeling many different emotions on our drive to the hospital. I was excited to meet to finally meet you but nervous about the Cesarean that would bring you into this world.

We arrived at the hospital a little before 10am and the nurses got me ready for surgery. Your daddy held my hand when I was nervous and made me smile and laugh to keep me calm. He walked with me into the OR and stayed by my side. Then, at 1:24pm you were born. All 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20.5 inches of you. I waited to hear you cry and when you did, so did I. I couldn’t wait to hold you and when I did it was true love all over again.

When you were 6 weeks old, I found myself faced with watching my baby go through something I couldn’t fix or make better on my own or without the help of a doctor. For nearly 2 weeks you were in the hospital and your daddy and I stayed by your side. We helped you with every attack due to whooping cough and prayed as we heard the stories of the other babies who had come and gone with the same illness some made it through and some did not. We prayed and patiently waited, your little hand bound to a board to hold your IV in and monitors attached to your legs, toes and arms. Despite the discomfort you always looked up at your Daddy and I with a smile on your face and love in your eyes. Despite all you had been through you looked at us as though you were trying to say that everything would be ok, like you were trying to comfort us.

Since then you have been happy and healthy and a joy to watch grow. You have never done anything slowly or lacking in determination. You were sitting up on your own by 5 months, crawling by 6 months, standing by 9 months and walking by 10 months. You are a mommy’s girl who loves to cuddle up and snuggle when you can. Like your sister, you love to talk and sing, even though we cant understand you yet. You love puzzles and blocks and of course, the remote control but most of all you love to give kisses and hugs.

Happy First Birthday Ellie. We love you with all our hearts and we cannot wait for whats in store for us in the years ahead. We cannot wait for your first real words, first sentences and much much more. We love you Ellie Bellie!

Love Mommy, Daddy, Abby and Jack too!

Tigger Dance at The Happiest Place on Earth

Today we took Abby to Disneyland for her birthday. We have not been since February which is actually a long time for us! What a difference a few months can make when it comes to a child of this age. She is so much more aware of her surroundings, characters and the excitement that comes from being a child at Disneyland.

Over the last week or so I have been talking with Abby about how she is going to Disneyland. Each time we talk she gets really excited. When you ask her “Who are we going to see?” she immediately says, “Mickey Mouse!” Its a good thing I caught it on video because the way she says Mickey Mouse just melts my heart.

After dropping Ellie off with Grandpa and Nana we made our way to Disneyland. I had hoped Abby would fall asleep for a bit on the way, especially after such a busy day yesterday, but that did not happen. She chattered and sang to her Ariel doll the entire way. When we finally reached the parking garage, you could tell that Abby seemed to know we were there. There was a bit of prompting from Shaun and myself, but she was genuinely excited. She even said hello to the parking attendants as we drove by.

After getting settled in with a stop at the lockers and more we headed for our first ride. It was a warm and humid day so it didn’t take long for Abby’s energy to be zapped. Shaun and I decided to get onto Nemo’s Submarine Voyage first before the lines grew. It was probably the longest wait of the day at about 30 minutes. That may not seem too long, but with a cranky 2 year old it seems like forever. There were a few bouts of tears because Abby didn’t quite get the concept of waiting in line, but there were also moments of happiness. Once we were on the ride, Abby was completely in awe! Even just the bubbles in the water made her happy. Those 30 difficult minutes in line, in the heat, were well worth it when we saw how excited she was to see Nemo.

Enjoying the Matterhorn and watching the waterfalls.

Loving Nemo and all of the bubbles as our submarine “dove” into the deep!

After Nemo we headed over to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Abby had fun watching Buzz and the little aliens, but didn’t quite understand the whole lazer gun thing. Oh well… baby steps! When we finished we started walking towards the entrance to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Fantasyland. On our way we noticed the Pearl Band walking towards the castle. I knew what was going to happen so we quickly followed them and sure enough the show started. It was the Mary Poppins show and before we knew it, Mary and Bert were out in the crowd performing some of Abby’s favorite songs. What a treat! Bert even waved and winked at her!

After that excitement we decided to find a cool place to sit down and have some lunch. We headed over to the Hungry Bear and sat near the edge of the restaurant. From our seats we could watch the Sailing Ship Columbia and Mark Twain Steamboat pass by as well as the Disneyland Train. Abby got a big kick out of that. After lunch and a bit of walking around Abby finally fell asleep in her stroller. Shaun and I took the opportunity to sit down and relax in a nice shady spot over near Big Thunder Ranch.

When Abby woke up we decided to pop on in to Big Thunder Ranch so that Abby could see the farm animals. She saw the turkey that was saved from Thanksgiving dinner by the president, goats, sheep and the Disneyland cow Maggie. As we were petting the goats, Shaun and I looked up and saw the best thing on earth walk into the ranch… Jessie! I never thought I would be one of those parents that flips out but I did. Shaun and I snatched Abby up and booked it over to Jessie. I have to say it was worth looking like an idiot for. Abby was wearing her Jessie T-Shirt and Jessie kept pointing at it and kissing Abby. It was the sweetest thing ever and Abby was so excited. Made the whole trip worth it. I think if we had gone home right then and there, Abby would not have cared. She was on cloud nine. Mommy and Daddy were too!

Jessie gives Abby hugs and kisses. That is one happy little girl!

From there with big smiles we went on Winnie the Pooh, which of course Abby loved. When we exited the ride Shaun took us over to the line to see some of the Pooh Bear characters. When we walked up Tigger and Rabbit were out but had to leave. Lucky for us Tigger came back and along with him came Pooh Bear! Another excitement for Abby. This time around I didnt even have to hold her. She went running right up to Pooh Bear. He knelt down for her and she talked to him in her gibberish. Abby played with his nose and then we posed for a picture. This little girl was in heaven!

Pooh Bear’s nose is very interesting and Abby had a lot of interesting things to tell Pooh Bear too.

After visiting with Pooh Bear we made our way over to Tigger. Abby walked over on her own and was even more excited to see him. She started doing her Abby dance, which is basically bending and straightening her legs. Bobbing up and down so to speak. Before we knew it Tigger was following her movements and then Abby was following Tigger. It was adorable! She even had most of the people in line laughing. We didn’t catch all of it, but here is a little video of what we now call the Tigger dance…

//www.youtube.com/get_player

After her dance with Tigger, Abby snuggled up with him and we got what is probably the cutest picture to date of Abby. Pure excitement and joy to see some of her favorite characters. What a day to remember as parents. From there we headed over to California Adventure to see Beasts Library and the Monsters Inc. ride. Abby loved both. We had wanted to go on Toy Story Mania but unfortunately that had been closed for refurbishment. After Monsters we packed up and headed home. Even though the day started off rocky, it ended with some wonderful moments! What a great birthday for Abby. Happy Birthday little girl!

Snuggling up with Tigger for an adorable picture. What a lucky little girl.

Party Like Its Abby’s 2nd Birthday

What a wonderful birthday for our little girl. Today Abby celebrated her birthday with family and a few friends. Shaun and I decided that instead of having a huge party for her we would do something small and take her to Disneyland the next day.

Abby had a great time hanging out with Grandpa and Nana and her Grandma Zoe as well as her Uncle James and his girlfriend Sammy. The Guerreros joined us as well and Abby had a fun time playing with Harrison. Harrison on the other hand was smitten with Sammy and wouldn’t leave her side. He was heart broken when it was time to go home. I hated to see him so sad but his crush on Sammy was very cute.

Stealing from Harrison’s plate… Im not sure that Harrison knew what to do with this aggressive little girl.

The food was yummy, and the cake even yummier! I made it myself and it was certainly fun trying to do that. I have learned a thing or two for next time but I think in the end her cake turned out great. Her plates and decorations matched it… kind of. This year Abby had a great time blowing out candles and laughed hysterically as people sang Happy Birthday to her. She loved the attention understood it a little bit more. On her first birthday she seemed a little creeped out by the fact that everyone was standing around her, staring and singing. What a difference a year makes! Although her process of consuming her cake was pretty similar to last year. What a messy little girl.

Abby’s Birthday Cake made by yours truly… No she is not 4 I just wanted Abby to have fun blowing out candles.

MMMMMM… CAKE! Not much has changed in a year has it?

Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and her Auntie J had the chance to watch her blow out her candles via web cam, which I know made their day. Even though they are not close to us they still had the chance to be a part of Abby’s special day.

After cake, Abby opened up her birthday presents. She opened her cards, kind of and then tore through her gifts. The clothing she received was given an “OHHH CUTE!” as she opened them and of course her attention was lost on toys, wrapping paper, boxes and more. Abby is a very lucky girl and will be well dressed for that matter. What a great birthday!

Being a good girl and opening her cards first… kind of.

Surrounded by wrapping paper and the remnants of some great birthday presents, now strewn about our deck.

Happy 2nd Birthday Abby!

Today Abby turns 2. Is it really possible that its been 2 years since our little girl was born? Well it has and it certainly has been an amazing two years. Abby has grown and changed so much. She is such a happy and adorable little girl, even with the new addition of scream at a pitch nearly audible to dogs alone. So much happens in one year at this age, its an amazing process to see. Since her first birthday Abby has learned to walk and run, talk, speak in sentences, imaginative play with her toys, sing, dance, jump, climb and much much more. Her personality is amazing and she makes us laugh every day. She has developed likes and dislikes like most people and I am sure that will change a lot over the next little bit. At the moment Abby’s favorites are:

1. Favorite Movies:
Mary Poppins, Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc. Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo

2. Favorite Characters:
Jessie, Woody, Bulls Eye, Buzz, Pooh Bear, Tigger, Mary Poppins, Bert, Nemo, Squirt, Beast, Belle, Ariel and Tinker Bell

3. Favorite Foods:
Bananas, Broccoli, Cheese, Apples, Chicken Strips

4. Favorite Friends:
Blanky, Doggy, Jessie, Woody, Tigger and Pooh

5. Favorite TV Shows
Caillou, Sesame Street, Olivia, The Wiggles

I am sure those favorites will change over the year, but thats what being a kid is all about. Shaun and I look forward to the years ahead and all of the changes that come with it. Abby, Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we cannot wait to see what the future brings.

Happy 2nd Birthday Pumpkin!

Early Birthday Presents

Abby turns two in less then a week… It’s very hard for me to believe but she does. How is it possible that two years can go so fast? I don’t have the answer to that question and I don’t think there is anyone else out there that does either.

As a present Shaun and I decided that we wanted to get Abby something that encouraged her to run and play but didn’t require ten thousand tiny pieces that will get scattered about the living room for all to step on. So Shaun felt like we could utilize a portion of our deck as a play space for Abby and eventually Ellie.

On Saturday we set out to run some errands and then buy the items we had in mind for the deck. We decided that after the girls went to bed, we would set up everything and have it waiting for Abby in the morning when she woke up. Abby already had a Cozy Coupe that Grandpa and Nana had given her for her 1st Birthday, so we thought that a slide, a picnic table and one of those fabric tubes all on a foam mat would make the perfect start to a play area. What a very lucky little girl. It didn’t take long to get things up and once that was taken care of we were off to bed.

The next morning we took our time getting up and luckily, so did the girls. Once everyone was awake, fed and happy we decided to show Abby her new things before it got too hot. The tempurature was supposed to get over 100 degrees. And let me tell you… it did.

When Abby came outside to check things out, she was very happy and excited to see all of these cool new things to play with. She has her own little park on our patio! She was all over the place, from the slide to the tunnel, around in the cozy coupe then back down the slide. She was enjoying herself and the heat didn’t seem to stop her in the least.

To me the slide seemed a tad steep as we set things up and I was worried that Abby would not go down it, but I was wrong. She was fearless and loved the fact that she would fly down it and land on her backside. Eventually she learned that if she put her feet out instead of curled up, she could land on them and save time between trips down the slide. As always she is a smart cookie!

Mommy loves all of this too! I know the Abby loves going to the park and before Ellie arrived I would take her often. Right now its a bit tough to do so, as I cant keep her wrangled and make sure Ellie is safe and happy to. Its really sad to think that now a days, the thought of taking her to the park and losing my eye on her for one second would make me have so much anxiety.

In a few more months, Ellie will be completely out of her newborn stage and a little more self sufficient which will allow us to head to the park and play more. Until then, Abby has a cool place to play. She has also finally gotten the hang of her cozy coupe and can zoom around the deck on her own. Before hand, she insisted on having the bottom board in and have one of us push her around and thats a tad difficult to do with a little one in my arms. Now she does it on her own and I dont have to worry about the tantrums that would ensue.

Wow… I cant believe Abby is almost 2! I cant wait for this weekend!

Relaxing the Weekend Away

This past weekend was busy but relaxing. You might be thinking to yourself, “Is that even possible?” Well it is, at least I think so. The 9th of September was grandpa Patrick’s birthday, so on Saturday we went over to their house for a birthday dinner and some time to hang out. We had a great time! Abby had the chance to play with Uncles James and his girlfriend Sammy, Shaun and I got a break while grandpa snuggled and held Ellie and we all had a great time just talking and watching Abby play. Fiona even has me addicted to the Bubble Burst game on my phone now. Don’t worry everyone, I haven’t touched my phone to play that game since yesterday afternoon. I don’t need an addiction help group yet. Stay tuned on that though! I was finally able to snap a picture of Ellie that didn’t involve her sleeping in her stroller/carrier or her bouncer. Yay!

Beautiful Ellie

Uncle James and Abby, and Grandpa Patrick and Ellie just hanging out in the back yard.

Grandpa Pat’s birthday cake from Porto’s. Yummy!!

Abby couldn’t resist putting her finger in the cake… it was too yummy looking and she couldnt wait for her own piece to taste it!

Abby finally gets a piece of her own… and boy did she love it!

On Sunday we decided just to take a drive and enjoy the day out. It was a beautiful but hot day. Luckily we didn’t have any plans of getting out of our nicely air conditioned car. Ellie definitely had a better time in the car. She didn’t cry much, if at all. We were literally down the street from our house when she started to scream and that was really because it was time to eat. Once she had been fed, life was better again. That is, as long as she is in someones arms.

Ever since the hospital its been impossible to put her down, but I have to. I have Abby and myself to care for as well as things that need to be done around the house. So most of the time she has to cry it out. Lately the crying fits have only lasted a few minutes and then she either falls asleep or calms down for a bit. All of that being held, snuggled and worried over at the hospital (and rightfully so) spoiled her a bit. I also think she hates laying down. I love her and dont want to rush this time along, but I cant wait until she is strong enough to sit in her Bumbo chair and see the world around her. I have a feeling that she will be a happier baby then. At least for now, my fingers are crossed.

The Best Birthday Gift

Yesterday I celebrated my 29th birthday. It wasnt a day out for lunches or dinners, or spent surrounded by a ton of people. I spent the day at home with Abby and quietly enjoyed my day. I enjoyed the ease of the day; Abby was calm and content snuggling with her mommy and playing games or putting puzzles together. Shaun sent me a bouquet of beautiful roses, red roses to be exact (which are my favorite) and when he came home from work we shared cards and a present or two. It was a perfect day.

On Thursday we will be given the best birthday present yet, a beautiful baby girl. Abby will meet her little sister and Shaun and I will meet our daughter. Its so strange yet wonderful to think that we will have another set of little feet running around the house, learning from Abby and looking up to her. That “the girls” will be playing with one another, fighting with one another and doing everything that sisters generally do. Within less then an hour we will go from parents of one to parents of two. Its a strange feeling that brings on a lot of emotions but they are all wonderful in the end. What a great present I have waiting for me on Thursday. Nothing will ever top it.

Happy Half Birthday Abby! 18 Months Today!

Abby turned 18 Months old today… Happy Half Birthday to our little Punkin! My goodness time has flown! Didn’t we just celebrate her 1st Birthday? She has grown and changed so much over the last 6 months, it makes me just a little teary eyed.

She has grown so much, both physically and mentally. She chatters all of the time and with each passing day Shaun and I can understand more and more. Her vocabulary has quite a few words in it! She currently says, but is not limited to, the following words:

Mommy, Dada, Nana, Papa, Moon, Star, Cat, Kitty, Dog, Puppy, Fishy, Bird, Jack, Bubble, Butterfly, Tree, Apple, Kite, Keys, Car, Water (she calls it WaWa), Cheese, Baby, Abby, Caillou (thats the main characters name on her favorite show), Yes, Please and Thank You (we’re still working on using these at the right time), Purple, Shoes, Hi, Bye, Sit (although sometimes this one sounds like a certain 4 letter word, I swear she is saying sit though).

Oh the list continues I am sure and each day something new pops out of her mouth. She is getting very good at mimicking things she hears mommy and daddy say as well as what she hears on Sprout or Nick Jr. Shaun and I are now very aware of what we say around her.

Abby is walking like a pro now and now loves to run as fast as she can, that is until she falls. Falling isnt so much of a traumatic experience as it used to be. There have been many times where Abby has taken a spill that I thought for sure would induce tears, but I got giggles instead. She is also starting to try and walk up stairs instead of crawling up them and she is now learning that she has to walk down them carefully, holding onto the rails or mommy or daddy’s hand. We had a few near accidents, but thank goodness we were right there to catch her.

Abby also had her 18 month check up today! She did great and Dr. Calig says she looks very very healthy. Music to the ears of her mommy and daddy. Her measurements this time around were as follows: 32.5 inches and 27 pounds 7 ounces. That means in 2 months she has grown nearly 2.5 inches! She only put on 2 pounds but that is excellent. Dr. Calig said that weight gain generally slows down at this age. Abby has been eating like crazy but I think that is because she is growing in height not weight. She can still fit into 12 month clothing as long as the shirts were cut a little long and pants can be made to look cute as capris. Some 18 month items are a little big still, but she is growing fast. I am sure that will change very soon!

Abby’s doctors appointment must have been very grueling for her, because as soon as we got home she went down easily for a nap. I checked on her about 15 minutes after I put her down and this is what I found…

She was literally cuddled up with her stuffed friends, especially her new Minnie Mouse. It was too cute to pass up. I had to risk waking her up to get a picture. Luckily she was passed out cold and I was even able to cover her up before I left her room. Boy how I love this little girl!

Happy Half Birthday Little Punkin!

Happy Birthday Shaun!

Today was Shaun’s Birthday! Happy 32nd Birthday! Shaun and I made last minute plans to go to a Kings game this evening and boy was it worth it. Tonight the Kings played the Coyotes and it was one heck of a game. It ended in an 8 round shoot out and in the end the Kings won! I think it was all for Shaun and his birthday. They had to make it extra exciting! Happy Birthday Shaun!
