Summer Days Coming to a Close

I walked into the girls room and this is how I found Elsa. Poor Elsa. Maybe we should turn this into a Disney version of CSI or Criminal Minds. Was it the bubbly yet frustrated sister or the jealous and 12th in line for the throne prince? Hmmm, I wonder.
California Girls at Heart
We may live in Seattle now but these girls will always be California Girls at heart. Its cloudy with some rain but this doesnt stop them from decking themselves out in sundresses and sunglasses. Love these two and their sassiness!
Beautiful Afternoon at the Park
The sun has been out and despite a few clouds in the sky, its been warm and beautiful. So Shaun and I packed up a picnic basket and we headed to one of our favorite parks for some lunch and play time. The day was perfect and the ducks were out in full force. Abby and Ellie made a few freinds too! Ducks friends that is.
I love Seattle and days like this just enforce my love for this place. I love the rain but I also love that it made me appreciate the sunny and beautiful days even more.
Future Careers?
Abby and Ellie were taking each others patient history. No joke… Thank you Doc McStuffins! I see a future career in the medical industry for both of them!
Slow But Steady Progress
Its been a long road, but I am finally starting to see results. Bought a pair of jeans that’s 2 sizes down and it feels great. Still plenty of road to cover and pounds to lose, but this is the first full picture of me that I have taken in a long time. And its awesome!
Double Rainbow
A spring thunderstorm rolled through today and it was spectacular. The end result was a double rainbow for all of us to enjoy.

Spring Is In The Air
Spring is in the air. Its been weeks of rain and even some snow but today the clouds cleared, brought the warmth of the sun and gave us the reassurance that we needed that Spring is just around the corner. The temperatures nearly hit the low 60’s and the sun felt so good on our skin. After the girls and I got off of work we stopped at the park and enjoyed as much of the sun as could. It felt glorious! Spring, we will be welcoming you in with open arms.
